    I have many different interests such as going to concerts, performing in music ensembles, baking, and art.      One of my most prevalent interests is band. I have been a part of various different musical ensembles for the past 10 years. In fourth grade I transitioned from the recorder to the flute and began to love it. I joined concert band and proceeded to practice with every chance I got. As I grew older, I began to branch out and do solo work where I would get professionally judged. As I went into high school, I met my closest friends and took band more seriously. I later joined Concert Band, Marching Band Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, and Percussion Ensemble. In my junior and senior year, I had leadership roles as Field Major and Drum Major, which grew my passions even more.       Tuesday the 29th was my first day of multimedia communications! It seems like a very interesting class. I am taking multimedia communications in order to improve my digital media skills. I am not someone who is good with technology so I think this course would be beneficial to me. I believe that this class will be good for expanding my skills as I grow as an individual and enter the workforce my next few years. I am excited for the rest of the semester in this class!
